SHEARLING EWES
Limited number of exceptional quality shearling ewes available:
All our shearling ewes are shown below after being bare clipped 7 weeks ago, so what you see is what you get.
They have wintered outside and not been forced.
Like many people we have been painfully short of grass, so these girls will improve no end from now on.
They are all correct in the mouth and legs with very tight skins (as all our breeding tend to be).
They are individually priced and we respectfully ask for serious enquiries only.

Dakota is a real star of the future, she has the presence, length and strength of a champion.
She would have certainly been in the 2020 & 2021 show team and will no doubt be an exceptional breeding ewe.
Her dam 'Arial' has consistently bred well for us with many of her progeny being in our show teams.

Daphne is a sweet ewe with beautiful markings, she's very flashy and will show herself well within the ring.
She is improving all the time and will make a stunning breeding ewe next year
Her Dam 'Bernice' was one of our shearing ewes in the 2019 show team and was placed well.

Delilah again is a flashy ewe with lovely equal markings, she is very correct and will show herself well in the ring.
Her sire 'Bespoke' was one of our show rams and he's consistently produced quality for us.

Dam - Lochlad Bejewelled
Delmira is one of my favourite ewes, she was a pet lamb and has the best personality ever!
She's maybe not one for the top end show ring but would certainly make you smile every day and become a lovely addition to any breeding flock and a best friend for a little family member.
Although dark in colour her sire and dam are not and her other siblings were much lighter in colour
She will be a very sad sale and will only go to the best of homes
LOCHLAD DEMETRIA

Dam - Annabelle of Lochlad
Demetria is defiantly a more Dutchy type being longer and narrower than our normal, she will be one of our tallest ewes and is sure to keep growing and filling out.
She will make a lovely breeding ewe put to the correct type of ram to complement her I think her lambs could be special.

Dam - Maargaret of Lochlad
Delia had been retained as one of the potential show team ewes, she has always stood out from a lamb.
She is extremely well muscled and has lovely confirmation and presence.
Her attitude is much like her sires of being very chilled out and relaxed!
She is a lovely all round ewe

Deziree who is full sister to Delia was one of our pet lambs
She has taken a little while to come into her own but there is now not much difference to that her sister and she is improving all the time and we think very highly of her.
She is a lovely all round ewe
LOCHLAD DARCY

Dam - Abby of Lochlad
Darcy is a different type once again to our normal, she's a little tank!
Small but very mighty.
Like her sire 'Admiral' she got a lovely happy and bouncy outlook on life, she will be the first to greet you in the field and is always getting up to mischief.
If you like the more Beltex type she's certainly well worth a look
LOCHLAD DIAMANDA

Dam - Amethyst II of Lochlad
Diamanda is the ewe that wants to be in the show ring, she's flashy and always puts herself to the front on a group.
Full sister to the 1st placed ewe lamb at Great Yorkshire shoe 2019 (Lochlad Crystal) thay are very much the same type.
Unfortunately Diamanda has got a large scar across the top of her head after an injury as a lamb, this does not effect her in any way and I cant see it being an issue in the show ring either.
She is a classy lady with lovely markings

IN LAMB EWES FOR SALE
We are offering a select quality group of in-lamb ewes.
The ewes are a range of ages and have been tupped by a selection of our stock rams including Bespoke, Baaboom, Admiral and Avalanche (see our stock tup page)
They are being offered for sale via the breed sales or as private sales.
They will be available for collection/purchase mid November after scanning.
We will however accept a scan dependant deposit for a reservation on a particular ewe.
